I was out doing my run today jamming to the newest Red Hot Chilli Peppers album when I realized just how much music motivates me. Like you, I don’t always have time to just sit down and listen to music, and when I am listening, my mind is usually otherwise occupied. But, when I’m exercising, my mind isn’t quite as busy. Most of my efforts are physical. Jogging can be a bit mind numbing as most repetitive exercises can be. So, there’s really no better time to listen. Does it matter what kind of music you listen to?
