However, statistics show that fewer than 20% of American adults take the actions that would result in them being fit.Is being fit all that hard? To be honest, not really. The US Department of Health and Human Services recommendations only require 150 minutes of aerobic exercise each week and two strength training sessions. That’s it. Do those two things and you are doing better than 80% of US adults.So, then if it’s that easy, why do so many adults fail at it. We know that the desire is there, at least on the surface level. We know this because the fitness industry is booming. It’s estimated worth was $16 billion dollars in 2021 and is expected to grow to $474 billion by 2028. That’s huge.
