April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month! This episode of When Life Gives You Parkinson’s Larry interviews Allan Cole from the PD Wise blog and the author of a new book Counseling Persons with Parkinson’s Disease. Allan, 53, received his diagnosis nearly five years ago. In addition to his advocacy work, he is a father of two teenaged girls, he is coming up on his 30th wedding anniversary and he is a professor and academic dean in Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin.
