Instead of finding love and protection, she faced continued emotional and mental abuse.Determined to seek justice, Yolanda and some of her cousins reported their abusers to the authorities in Mexico, only to be ignored. The investigation into their case has been stalled for over four years, with constant delays and a disturbing lack of action from law enforcement. Despite this, she refuses to stay silent.
