Corporal Demenza grew up in Tampa, Florida. He enlisted in the US Army and went through training to be in the Infantry. A unique pre-service course on drafting however, changed how he would serve. As a result, he found himself in Japan as the war came to a close and became part of the effort to redistribute assets deployed on behalf of the US military to Japan.
