Pas på, I ikke får popcornene galt i halsen 🍿Da storfilmen 'Birth of a Nation' kørte over biograflærrederne i 1915 var publikum blown away over de episke scener, den storladne historier og de banebrydende filmteknikker. Men alligevel forlod mange biografen med en dårlig smag i munden..Hovedpersonerne i filmen viste sig nemlig at være ingen ringere end Ku Klux Klan. Og det blev kun værre af, at filmens helte brugte det meste af filmen på heroisk at myrde hvide skuespillere i tvivlsom sort make-up.
