Union with Christ is one of the central doctrines of the Christian faith. The vital union that believers have with Jesus Christ makes them recipients of all the spiritual blessings that are found in Him as the Mediator and Redeemer of the elect. Union with Christ is the source of a believer’s communion with God and other believers—since all believers are united to one another by virtue of their union with Christ. Believers remain united to Christ throughout their entirety of their lives and for all eternity.
