I first met Latifah as she helmed the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild about 15 years ago, and it’s been an honor to remain connected over the years, and to see her business and statute in the industry develop.We talk about how being a traveling educator gave her an inside look at so many quilts shops, and how that information formed her pattern + ruler/template strategy.
