On episode 277 we were joined by Charlotte based artist CYD Tone for another inspiring one! Following a shift from basketball to music around 2016, CYD Tone has been on a steady evolution in his artistry ever since. He discussed with us what the transition was like and the initial positive responses he received on his early work that helped him gain the confidence to keep going. Since then he’s racked up an impressive discography including his most recent album “Pressure Makes Diamonds” which saw his love for story-telling and personal growth in his music on full display. We enjoyed CYD’s focus on his personal brand, his long term goals for continued growth, and his connection to the love for his craft.
