About this episode
Hello and welcome to the Powered By Rock podcast where I am going to be speaking with Sal Ellington from the Boston-based pop-punk band Rebuilder today.  Rebuilder has a brand new album called Local Support that came out in  The new album is high on my list for best albums of 2023 as it has a great mix of pop-punk mixed with a bit heavier stuff due to the fact that the band has two singers and can jump into different directions whenever they want. Heck, they even start one song off in a country vibe to sort of bring the mood in a different direction as if you were leaving a concert in a rural bar and being played out by the house PA music. Rebuilder has some serious accolades and credits such as being on the Clerks 3 soundtrack, being nominated SIX times for punk band of the year in Boston’s annual music awards, and they have played with some big name acts such as Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Pennywise, Bad Religion, NOFX, and Frank Turner to name a few. I am excited to talk all about Local Support and Rebuilder today, because this is one band and one album you NEED to put in your rotation.
