About this episode
Hello and welcome to the Powered By Rock podcast where I am going to be speaking with Steve and Bryan of the Washington D.C.-based punk band American Television today.  The band has been releasing music since 2013, and their 2016 debut EP “Reaction” was a bombastic introduction onto the scene. The band has put out another EP called “Adolescence” back in 2021 as well as a full-length in 2020 called Watch It Burn, and even better, they just released their brand new sophomore LP called Scars on September 22nd, and it is absolutely killer. The album reminds me soundwise of The Copyrights last album Alone in a Dome which anyone who listens to this podcast may know won the 2021 Punk Album of the Year from the Powered By Rock Awards…so, that is some very high praise. They also have a very cool video for their song “Bittersweet” that I am excited to play for you during the show today. So stay tuned for that.
