About this episode
Today, Andrew Miller will speak about his volunteer work in several local prisons.  Since 2019, he has sponsored gavel clubs - special versions of Toastmasters for those who cannot join a traditional Toastmasters Club.  In 2022, he began teaching creative writing at Madison and Jefferson Correctional Institution. Most of his professional career was spent at the US Army Engineer R&D Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he conducted research on endangered species and habitat restoration.  In addition to volunteering, he restores antique stained-glass windows and writes short stories and essays.  He and his wife have lived in Tallahassee since 2006.
