About this episode
Does God care about the details of our lives and our numbers? Today we open the book of Numbers, beginning with a massive census that shows every individual in Israel had a place and a purpose in the camp. We then move to the Gospel of Luke, where the focus shifts from a great nation to a single young woman in Nazareth as the Angel Gabriel announces the most significant birth in human history.Today’s Scripture:? Numbers 1–2:9 – God commands a census of the men of Israel as they prepare to move toward the Promised Land. We see the meticulous organization of the tribes and the central importance of the Tabernacle in their camp.? Luke 1:26–38 – The Annunciation: Gabriel visits Mary, declaring that she will conceive by the Holy Spirit. We witness Mary's profound faith and submission to God's plan.? Psalm 33:12–22 – A reminder that the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, and that our hearts should rejoice in His holy name.RESOURCES & READ-ALONG ?
