Automation supports scale, but judgment remains human. Security programs increasingly deny by default and permit intentionally, which demands a deep understanding of how the business actually works. That understanding cannot be automated.What emerges is a clearer definition of modern security leadership. The CISO is no longer a gatekeeper.
