Today we discuss a member of the artemisia family known ad Mugwort or Mugswort. This is a powerfully medicinal plant with a very long history or use. It is good for infections, sore muscles and joints, menstrual issues, digestive issues, stones, the liver, colds and flus, parasites and even for grief and similar psychological issues... but, the reason it got its name is it was used for bittering and preserving beer before hops.
