ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE is far more advanced than most of us realize. In fact, it may be the instrument through which the Antichrist comes to power. Tech entrepreneur and billionaire Peter Thiel delivered four lectures in Rome this week on the subject of the Antichrist. He was disavowed by the Vatican and Catholic universities in Rome, and protesters gathered outside the private, invitation only events. The irony, according to Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis, author of the forthcoming book The New AI Cold War (next week's guest on A View from the Bunker), is that while Thiel correctly foresees the coming of the prophesied Antichrist, he excludes the AI-powered surveillance system created by his own company from the Beast system that will be used to enslave of humanity. We also discussed an important news item that broke overnight: Iran launched two medium-range ballistic missiles at the US airbase on the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. This is significant. Until the last 24 hours, experts did not believe Iran had missiles with that kind of range. Now, we know Iran can reach every European capital, including London, with its weapons. Maybe, just maybe, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu had access to intelligence that the experts did not, and Iran was, in fact, more of a clear and present danger to the world than their critics would like us to believe. Finally, we again discuss the theological imagery of the 2016 movie Godzilla: King of Monsters. If you haven't seen it, we recommend it. Of course, it's fun to watch giant monster movies (at least for us), but the religious symbolism in the movie – not least of which is referring to Godzilla and his giant colleagues as "the Titans: the original and rightful rulers of earth.” the movie, depicts a struggle between the leader of the fallen sons of God from Genesis 6, Shemihazah, and Satan – with Shemihazah and his colleagues, the rebellious Watchers described in the Book of 1 Enoch, as the heroes of the conflict.
