This gives the perception of a common force and allows the local police department to easily identify the guards when an incident occurs. In The News Two men shot by security guards in Dorchester, South Carolina nightclub parking lot After suspects of firing shots in the club parking lot were asked to put their weapons down and refused, two security guards opened fire on the suspects. One of the suspects was hospitalized with a gunshot wound and the other refused medical attention after a gunshot grazed his leg.
