Pete Barnard is our guest for this episode of Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast. Peter Barnard is a certified nurse-midwife. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fort Hays State University School of Nursing in 1985. He later received his Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Utah. Pete has been a certified nurse-midwife since 1990. He is trained in surgical first assist and specializes in gynecologic and oncologic surgery using the Da Vinci robotic system. During this podcast, we discuss c-section procedures, emergency vs scheduled, post-partum implications, and how pelvic floor physical therapy can assist in the healing process for scar tissue pain and adhesion and rectus diastasis.
