On the newest episode of the Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast, we sit down with Matthew Cart, DPT, who had a spontaneous epidural hematoma at the level T4 in 2007, causing complete paralysis below T4. He attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville for his undergraduate degree earned in 2011 followed by the University of Florida for his doctor of physical therapy program in 2014. Through his personal and professional experience, Matthew works with patients in bowel and bladder retraining following spinal cord injuries from inpatient to full independence with a multidisciplinary approach.
