Dr. Vikas Garg is our guest for this episode of the Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast. Dr. Garg is a double-boarded physician, who completed his fellowship in pain management from the University of Washington. He is residency trained in Anesthesiology from the University of Ohio, Toledo and Family Practice from Erie, PA. He is very active in research with a published article on low back pain.
Dr. Garg is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spine Interventional Society. During this podcast, we discuss sacral neuromodulation/stimulation for the treatment of pelvic pain. We dive deeper into information on the procedure, outcomes, patient presentation, and the role of pelvic floor physical therapy.
