The Minnesota Wild fell at Grand Casino Arena 3-2 in a shootout to the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night. The Wild fell to 38-26-12 as they came up empty in the shootout against a scrappy Flyers team, after blowing a 2-1 lead in the 3rd period. Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy scored for the Wild, who survived 2 different overtime Power Plays, but Travis Konecny sent the Flyers to a win with the only shootout goal. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 24 of 26 shots in net for the Wild, who went 4/4 on the Penalty Kill and 1/3 on the Power Play. The Wild host New York for their next game on Saturday.
