In 2025, only TWO teams had fewer yards after catch per reception than the Houston Texans. That’s a problem. If you can’t get the ball and turn upfield, your offense stalls — and that’s exactly what happened.

His 9.2 yards before catch and 11.5 ADOT last year tell a different story about how he was used — not what he’s capable of.

Nico Collins is still dominant — but two concussions and 7 missed games in two seasons raise durability questions.
The run game? 20% of RB carries went for zero or negative yards in 2025. Only six teams were worse.
Christian Kirk didn’t bring the same presence as Stefon Diggs.
The backs weren’t Joe Mixon.
And the trust factor? That might’ve hurt CJ Stroud more than we’re talking about.
