The Golden Knights have now lost three straight and are assured of a non-winning road trip. Last night on Jack Eichel's return to Buffalo for a fourth time, VGK trailed 3-0 in the second period before they started to play. Ivan Barbashev scored on a wraparound and Pavel Dorofeyev scored to make it a 3-2 game. But the Golden Knights couldnt come all the way back as they sunk to 1-3 on the post-Olympics road trip. Things might not get much better tonight as VGK travels to Detroit on the tail end of a back-to-back. The Red Wings are looking to add more juice at the deadline, but they have been consistent and are currently in a playoff spot, in third place in the Atlantic.
