It took the pressure of an Easter vacation to get lawmakers to finally fund DHS and get long overdue paychecks to TSA workers. Around 2am ET, the senate passed a version of a spending package that would fund the agency, minus ICE and border patrol. The House still has to pass the senate’s version, but that’s expected later today.
