Joy Chandra Nath was charged with second-degree murder and child abuse in the April 2025 death of his ex-girlfriend, Maria Garcia-Molina. Maria was found stabbed to death in her car in Miami, Florida after her 3-year-old daughter had been found walking around with dried blood on her. Detectives picked up Joy Nath for questioning because Maria had accused him of stalking her.
