Persecuted for defending religious freedom and human rights. I was exiled to America as a political refugee —seeking liberty, not comfort. I am grateful for freedom, but deep concern seeing America flirt with the very system I fought against. I did not come to America for a better economy—I came for freedom. That’s what’s at stake today.
