About this episode
Feliks Banel's guests on this LIVE BROADCAST of CASCADE OF HISTORY include Marriah Thornock, Executive Director of the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Wenatchee, Washington on the museum’s expansion and renovation plans, and their upcoming major effort to serve the community while the work is underway; and Michael Calhoun of Vernonia, Oregon on efforts in his community to support the Banks/Vernonia State Trail - Oregon’s first rails-to-trails project – which Mr. Calhoun recently helped get designated as a “National Recreation Trail” by the National Park Service. We also listened to vintage Iraq War audio, including CBS Radio News' coverage of the March 19, 2003 announcement by President George W. Bush that the war had begun, and analysis by CBS' Bill Whitney and Dr. Stan Weeks of what might happen next.
