On this BONUS EPISODE of CASCADE OF HISTORY, we present complete audio from Part One of "Bomber Down," a miniseries researched, produced and hosted by Feliks Banel in 2025 for the KSL Podcasts project known as "Unsolved Histories."
"Bomber Down" is about a B-52 Stratofortress on a training mission with eight crew members aboard that went missing in the Gulf of Mexico in February 1968. Now, thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, generous donors, and the non-profit called “Project Recover,” a search for the missing aircraft and crew is about to get underway off the coast of Texas in early 2026.
“Bomber Down” concerns the missing B-52, the family members left behind, and the volunteers whose dedication has led to the upcoming search. This BONUS EPISODE is presented by special arrangement with KSL Podcasts.
